Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MySchoolSyncApp ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including school administrators, teachers, parents, and platform administrators.

2. Description of Service

MySchoolSyncApp is a school management platform designed for weekend Islamic schools. The Service includes student registration, attendance tracking, gradebook management, class management, parent and teacher portals, email communication, calendar management, certificate generation, and billing features.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. School Data and Ownership

Each school retains full ownership of its data, including student records, attendance data, grades, family information, and all other content entered into the platform. Data is isolated per school and is not shared between schools or with third parties, except as required to provide the Service or as required by law.

5. Pricing and Payment

The Service is priced in tiered annual packages based on enrolled student count: Starter (up to 50 students) — $200/year, Growth (51–100 students) — $400/year, Standard (101–200 students) — $650/year, Premium (201–300 students) — $1,000/year, and Academy (301+ students) — $1,600/year. Custom pricing is available upon request. New schools receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. Payment is due upon invoicing. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will honor the price at the time of payment until the next billing cycle.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
• Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

7. Student Data and COPPA Compliance

The Service may process personal information of children under 13. Schools and parents are responsible for obtaining any required consent for the collection of children's information. We process student data solely to provide the Service and do not use it for advertising or marketing purposes. We comply with applicable child data protection laws including COPPA.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable and uninterrupted access to the Service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the use of the Service at any time. Upon termination, school administrators may request an export of their data within 30 days. After 30 days, we reserve the right to delete school data from our systems. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT MYSCHOOLSYNCAPP AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS ("MYSCHOOLSYNCAPP PARTIES") WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF A MYSCHOOLSYNCAPP PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR ACCESS TO, OR INABILITY TO USE OR ACCESS, THE SERVICE.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
